McClung, BS, Morgantown, WV, past president of the Emeritus Club, moved with his wife to the Heritage Point Retirement Community where he is president of the Residents' Council. . .Kemp McLaughlin, Brig. Gen. USAFR (ret.), has published a memoir, The Mighty Eighth in World War II, which details his experiences as an ace pilot and "sky train" leader in the Eighth Air Force's 92d Bombardment Group. The decorated war hero served as commander of the West Virginia Air National Guard for 30 years.

1943 Harriet Blind, BS, West Orange, NJ, celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with her husband Bob on April 30, 1999.

1957 L. Budd Thalman, BS, a sports publicist who successfully promoted Roger Staubach for the Heisman Trophy in 1963 while working for the US Naval Academy, has announced his intention to retire from Penn State, ending a 39-year career in college sports and the NFL. 1960 Ferris J. Antoon, BS, West Long Branch, NJ, retired as director of sports camps at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ, after 26 years.
